Nature Walk

The Jim Corbett National Park is endowed with riches from birds and animals to rivers and picturesque surrounding. The flora and fauna of this place makes it simply remarkable and what could be a great way to explore the richness of this place than the nature walk. This allows a heavenly experience amidst the beauty of nature where you can stroll at your own pace and stop wherever you find something astounding.

Make sure that you include nature walk in your agenda on the trip to Jim Corbett National park. It is a guided tour by trained and experienced naturalist who will disclose the gems and wonders to you. Walk along the herbs, or by the side of the rivers and on the simple walking tracks.

Your tour to National Park must include atleast a day of nature walk. If you have any difficulty in arranging the nature walk, trust us for taking care of even a minute detail of the trip. We understand how important each moment of the tour is and we try to make it even more special for you so that the pleasant memory of the tour stays in your mind forever.

We offer a variety of tours to help enrich your Filoli experience. All tours are free with the price of admission. Prepaid advanced reservations are recommended, especially during April and May.

House & Garden Tours

Led by docents, these tours are approximately 2 hours. An hour spent in the House and an hour in the Garden. The walking is a casual pace as the docents talk about each area. Tour times are Tuesday – Saturday 10:30 am and 1:00 pm. During April and May there is an additional tour at 11:30 am.


Nature Hikes

Saturdays mid – February through October, except during the month of August. We offer Docent–led nature hikes by advance reservation. These hikes are at 10:00 am and last approximately 2 hours. This hike is on varied terrain; at times it can be strenuous. Please discuss any physical limitations with your docent before you head out. Children must be 5 years or older and accompanied by an adult.


Orchard Tours

Docent led tours of our Gentlemen’s Orchard are offered Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:30 am, June 1st through October 26th by advance reservation. Learn about the many varieties of heritage fruit that grow in Filoli’s orchard and about the orchard’s history and maintenance. This tour is approximately one and a half hours and requires sturdy footwear.
